Shakespeare be gone! This is delightful.
ReplyDeleteTasty piece!
ReplyDeleteAlways glad to see Shakespeare quoted -- well written.
ReplyDeleteI think The Bard would feel honoured.
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on William's Words....love it...bkm
ReplyDeleteVery hungry now. Nice how sour and sweet go together.
ReplyDeleteYou saw raspberry jam and I saw blood. Viva la Difference. Enjoyed your light take to this magpie.
ReplyDeleteI so wanted to write that a lemon by any other name would taste just as sour but it didn't seem the thing to do!! Took enough poetic licence from Will as it was!
ReplyDeleteYou're all very kind - thank you - Jacqui I didn't want to see blood although I did initially!
Such a wonderful take on his original words... he would be honored I'm sure. I am often fascinated with the different responses to each weeks Mag, but this week seems more varied than most to me.
ReplyDeletewell...yum! indeed this poem is delicious and lots of fun! very nice...
ReplyDeleteHi Thanks for stopping by my blog, it was great to hear from you, I'm always running late in my comments as I have my little Granddaughter 2 mornings a week! Hugs, Marilou xoxo
ReplyDeleteA feast for a bard! Yum.
ReplyDeleteBarbara,
ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the word "lemon", I reach for my sweetener.
