Cracked

She cracked me
And
Broke me
Without a thought

My top tossed
Away
With a
Flick of the wrist

My insides thrown
Into
Boiling water
She poached me

Now she sits
With
Toasted bread
Ready for heaven

The jagged edges
Of
Her life
Momentarily forgotten

  6. I like the simplicity of this. The journey to inner peace can be a hard one. (Boiling and poaching - yikes)
