Of every fast food chain

Roll the meat mostly skin

Into the pancakes

Oh so thin

Cucumber sticks

Spring onions 

Hoisin sauce

Two centuries ago

A delicacy 

Of imperialist China

Now on every

Western menu

A takeaway

Without a thought

For the history

Of this delicacy

Now being served

As fast as

Chicken and chips

A sacrilege
