Wind howling
Sounding
Like a distant wolf
In pain
Children oblivious
Ignoring
Blinding cold sleet
That bites
April showers
Freezing
Cannot spoil Easter
Egg hunt

These words match the image perfectly and of course poetically.

ReplyDeleteEgg hunts are important.
ReplyDeleteSpot on! Weather V's Fun? Got to give the elements a run for their money when they threaten our plans!!

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that I have not thanked you all individually or visited your pages. My husband fell very ill on Easter Monday and was admitted to hospital with a suspected heart attack.. Everything else I'm afraid, went by the board. I will try to catch up over the weekend now that he had been released and things seem less bleak than they did last Monday.
ReplyDeleteChildren are tough, aren't they? Sometimes mine won't go outside until it's dark and rainy...
ReplyDelete"The Blog of Bee" has been included in the A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.

Excellent poetic interpretation of the inspiration picture. That is exactly the way children would react. Even the little girls, with their uncovered legs, wouldn't be distract by the sleet and snow.
