I am blessed to have two wonderful children. They are a joy.
Eight years apart and born in the same week. Wimbledon was a no-no for me the week of their births as I was somewhat preoccupied!
Birthday parties which of course had to be separate, were a challenge! He didn't want the clowns and the little children but she wanted to roller blade and barbecue with the big boys!! Happy days!

Thank you. I am blessed. They weren't always easy but for the most part I never had any major problems. Maybe what I saw as problems others may have seen as slight glitches! According to friends, I had it easy!!

ReplyDeleteThank you. They do indeed and we love them dearly but both need to know occasionally that I (we) have a life and managed somehow to survive before they came into it! I mean that in the most humorous and gentlest of ways!! Protective sometimes is over the top! But I am blessed and fortunate that they care about how the old folks are getting along - never mind that I hold down a full time job!

DeleteI hear echos of the same "I don't want to share" song. Four birthdays withing six weeks of each other; Krista feeling left out when the big kids got together. What a balancing act. Of course, big bro' could've care less about the little kids party. Oh, the cake was always of interest. LOL
