Husband leaving through front door yesterday morning, mumbling something.
Me: "What was that?"
Husband: "Nothing"
Me: "You said something"
Husband: "No I didn't"
Me: "Yes you did. What did you say?"
Husband: "I didn't say anything"
Me: "I heard you!"
Husband: "I was talking to myself"
Leaves to move car
Me: "I do hate it when he does that. Think I'll find
myself a toy boy!"
Daughter: "You'll probably find this gross but I know plenty of
people who would be very happy to have you as a
cougar!"
people who would be very happy to have you as a
cougar!"
Me: "Don't be silly".
Daughter: "Yup!"
Me: "I don't think so"
Daughter: "Yes they would!"
Me: "Gross!"
How was that for a start to the day???
Gross is right!
Very funny. Really. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteHa! Love it! How am I going to keep up with all these blogs???
ReplyDeleteSans Souci
Heehee!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, define Cougar besides a lovely feline carnivore that resides in my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteIt does pay to forget these conversations but I love that you record them so we can laugh.
I say better a cougar than a "pole cat", dear friend. I'd leave a roar at this juncture but my throat seems months away from that sort of vocalizations.
ReplyDelete:D
My head went from one to the next in your conversations. Huh? Why a cougar? What? Here I see that my English (American) is just not suffisante! But I appreciate a funny conversation nevertheless!
ReplyDeleteCougar: An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man.
ReplyDeleteApparently this is a term used by those who are hip and in the know. I had to ask.
Not necessarily one who frequents clubs and not necessarily to score. Just to have a good time and I've heard that younger men love it because nothing is expected of them except to be attentive and play the perfect escort. It doesn't necessarily mean that a cougar has bed on her mind either.
ReplyDeleteFamous cougars include Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, Halle Berry,Kim Cattrall, Courtney Cox and the majority of those are married to their toy boys.
The most famous of course before cougars became cougars and they were called 'cradle snatchers', was Mrs Robinson!!
