Inspiration does not come
Easily
When the Muse sleeps
I
Lay down my head
Closing my heavy lids
Hoping
That she will awake
The
Slumber in me
Outside of my window
Staring
Closely in at me
Dancing
Flowers imitating skulls
Blessed peace must come
Surely
To colour out the
Images
Of killing fields
