Which Direction?

MAG 50

Photograph courtesy of Tess Kincaid, Magpie Tales

Behind me
South
Well trodden
And worn

Before me
North
Pristine perfect
And pure

Left of me
West
Unappealingly dull
No interest

Right of me
East
Mysteriously enticing
Decision made

  1. We always seem to be at these crossroads, but sometimes all directions seem equally unappealing. I like the way you capture these decision points.

  2. In a few short words you have captured what it feels like to always be wanting to see and do what we have not yet seen and done. To travel to new places and see new sights. I enjoyed your poem.
