Same premise...the movement of a fallen soldier from the front to his final resting place. So moving, so emotional. I cannot help but think that every politician should be in attendance to these final steps at some point in the journey. After all...wasn't it by their vote that these consequences came to be? The town - population 11,000 - simply happens to lie on the route between RAF Lyneham and John <br />Radcliffe Hospital, Oxfordshire, where the bodies of service personnel are taken for post mortem examinations.<br /><br />The hearses have been passing through Wootton Bassett since April 2007. The first time, a handful of locals lined the street.
